HIGH SCHOOL / COLLEGE GOALS PROGRAMS
GOALS expeditions are available to participants ranging in age from 4th grade through adult. By differentiating the objectives of our programs for specific age groups, we maximize the effectiveness and impact of each child’s experience.
Our high school/college expeditions are designed specifically for children in grade 9-14+. Students who participate are generally at an important and often intimidating time of transition in their lives - working to find success in high school and/or identify the proper decision for the next chapter of their young adult lives. GOALS has developed a 4-step growth guide that connects kids to themselves by increasing personal awareness. Our 4-step growth process empowers them to search, navigate, reflect, and believe as we travel through the canyon - then shows them how the same process is applicable and valuable when they strive to “over-exist” after the take-out. These expeditions range from 3 - 10 days in length, and explore rivers with whitewater up to Class IV+.
GOALS High School / College Expeditions are offered on:
- Westwater Canyon of the Colorado River in Colorado & Utah (3 days)
- The Wild & Scenic Rogue River in Oregon (4 or 5 days)
- Cataract Canyon of the Colorado River in Utah (5-10 days)
- The Main Salmon River in Idaho (6 days)
